My favourite course at business school had nothing to do with Economics - it was Public Speaking. But it wasn't until a friend asked me to MC their wedding reception, that something clicked. The energy of the room, the laughter, the tears (of joy) — I was hooked. I realised I had a gift for engaging with a crowd and keeping people entertained.

Over the years, that passion evolved. My love for hosting grew stronger, I was asked to MC wedding after wedding, I started coaching others on how to be MCs themselves, then colleagues on their presentations. After one event someone (jokingly?) said: "You should quit your day job, your talents are wasted there". Before I knew it, HostMaster was born.

Today, I split my time between hosting unforgettable events, big and small, and helping others find their voice. Whether it's a nervous first time MC, a party host who wants to relax and enjoy their own party, or someone who wants to stand out at work - things will be exponentially better with just a little help.
